Welcome
mates, this might be for some of us the first day coming back to school. We are
so glad to have you studying in Faculty of Languages of BUAP. And we certainly
hope you have a very nice impression of it. As you know, it is the beginning
for our career and we hope you to enjoy every moment in here. You may know that
new experiences are being prepared for us, academic exchanges, tournaments and
exciting activities. I am sure you will make new friends who can be there in
your life. Professors will work for you to get knowledge, experiences and they
will help to achieve your goals too. Are you ready? I hope so. Study hours,
hard work, research, meetings, forums, congresses, and tons of meaningful
information will work on you to be a successful professional.
FRESHMEN:
Our Faculty
will hold you on this journey. You will meet people from the country and
abroad. You have already started on the way to achieve this goal. Your future
is now being closer and closer.
If you’re
like looking for interesting activities and events just ask for in Eventos
Culturales. You’ll find some nice activities on there and you’ll have
information about them.
You can mix
your schedule and physical training at Students gym. They have some teams for
volleyball, basketball and football which you can join. Go Lenguas! There are
also some tournaments and matches and BUAP students can go for free- having a
ticket.
You need to
ask about some questions you may have about the career. We hope you will get well
directed to achieve your goal. Also, we encourage to share your thoughts and
experiences with us. We’ll be posting information about local events, news,
contests, scholarships, trips, comics, games, pedagogical sources, training,
and so on. Also, you will find funny pictures and any kind of interesting videos on the blog.
Tips
Take a tour
of campus again- This way you will get familiar to the places which belong to
the Faculty. Get to know about the library,
Get
organized- Do your planner to remind yourself about doing your assignments and
studying for exams.
Know your
schedule- Consult the new layout for classrooms and abbreviations meaning.
FOR ALL
STUDENTS:
Get
involved in campus. The more involved you are the more informed you will be!
Stay focus in your goal, ensure that you
want to stay on campus and finish your education.
Get to know
your tutor- They are your support, they can help you to choose the right
classes to meet your goals, and don’t miss out on required classes if you tend
to get a scholarship for next term.
Go to
campus events- This might be the only time in your life that you’ll have time
to spend time with some others at college.
Are you
ready?
Believe it or not, you are on the way to succeed but like in any race, do your best to reach the goal.
